Momo (Nepalese Dumpling)

  • 2 cups flour
  • 240 ml (8 fl oz) water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • * 500 g (1 lb) minced meat (Lamb or pork)

  • * 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • * 1/2 cup green onion or leek (chopped)
  • * 1-2 tbsp garlic (shred)
  • * 1-2 tbsp ginger (shred)
  • * 1 tsp salt
  • * 1 tsp tarmelic powder
  • * 1 tsp sesame oil
  • * 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • * black pepper
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • 1 cup tomato (chopped without skin)
  • ** 60 g (2 oz) sesame seeds (roasted with a pan)
  • ** 4 tbsp vinegar or yogurt
  • ** 1 pinch chili powder
  • 1 pinch salt
