- 5-6 herring fillets
- 1.5 red onions (sliced)
- 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
- 3 limes (1 sliced, 2 juice)
- 1 fresh green chili (sliced)
- 1 fresh red chili (sliced)
- 1 bunt fresh coriander (cut in pieces)
- 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) white wine
- 1. Put the herrings in water and leave in refrigerator for one night.
- 3. Put the red onion in ice water for 10 minutes.
- 4. Mix garlic, wine and lime juice.
- 2. Drain the water and cut the herrings in pieces.
- 5. Put the ingredients in layers in jars, pour the lime juice mixture.
- 6. Lock the jars and leave them in refrigerator for one night.
