- 1 kg (2 lb) potatoes (peeled)
- 200 ml (7 fl oz) Crème fraîche or sour cream or cream
- 50 g (2 oz) butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 200 ml (7 fl oz) leek (chopped)
- 200 g (7 oz) cheddar cheese (grated)
- 500 g (1 lb) minced meat (lamb or beef)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Some dashes Tabasco
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1. Boil with a little salt until soft. They will be boiled quicker if they are cut in pieces.
- 2. Put off water, let steam off and crush the potatoes.
- 3. Add salt, pepper, butter and 1/3-1/2 of cheese and mix well. Add crème fraîche and mix until quite smooth.
- 4. Add leek and egg yolk and mix.
- 5. This is mixture of potato. Start preheating oven for 225 °C (437 °F).
- 6. Mix minced meat, egg, worcester sauce, soy sauce, tabasco, salt and pepper. Spread olive oil on a form and put the meat. Put it in oven for 15 minutes.
- 7. Put the potato mixture on the meat and put the rest of the cheese on the potato.
- 8. Put it back in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Take it out from oven and let get colder for a few minutes before serving.
