- 250 g (9 oz) margarine (room temperature)
- 500 g (1lb) flour (4/5 wheat, 1/5 graham)
- 1.5 dl (5 fl oz) granulated sugar
- 4 eggs (separate white and yolk)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1.5 dl (5 fl oz) powdered sugar
- 2.5 tbsp cacao or cinnamon powder
- 3 large apples (sliced)
- Mix margarine, flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and yolk.
- Divide in three.
- Add cacao/cinnamon to one of them. Make balls, put them in plastik bags and leave them in refrigerator.
- Spread butter on a bakeware and put some breadcrumbs.
- Whisp egg white and powdered sugar.
- Grate half of the white dough in the bakeware.
- Grate the brown dough in the bakeware and lay apple slices. You can put some cinnamon.
- Spread the whipped egg white.
- Grate the rest of white dough in the top
- Put in oven 175 °C (347 °F) for 35-45 minutes.
- After a while, put out the cake from the form.
- Done!
- This cake is very nice with vanilla sauce, whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
