Sauerkraut Soup

  • 500 g (1 lb) sauerkraut
  • 200 g (7 oz) meat (sausage, bacon or chicken. cut in pieces)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 clove garlic (shred)

  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Vegetable (carrot, popato, boiled chicken peas, celery, mushroom, tomato etc. Chopped)
  • 1 l (34 fl oz) water
  • 1-2 cubes bouillon
  1. Fry garlic with oil.
  2. Add meat and continue frying until the meat sealed.
  3. Add vegetable and sauerkraut,fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Add water and bouillon and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
