  • 24 large mussels (cleaned)
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion (chopped)

  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts (optional)
  • 1 tbsp raisin (optional)
  • Dried mint
  • Black pepper
  • Lemon wedges for garnish
